Registering data stores

Feedback

iServer Manager provides the ability to register data stores of different sources with iServer. Currently, iServer supports the following two registration ways:

Registering user-managed data stores

Log in to iServer as an administrator, in the iServer service management page, enter "Clusters">"Data Registration", then you can Register user-managed data stores,ie.,disk directories, HDFS directories and databases. After registering, the user-managed data will appear under the sharefile resource.

Note: If the registered spatial database (currently only supports HBase, PGSQL, PostGIS) allows editing, the corresponding import resource under relationship is available; If not, the resource is not available.

Registering SuperMap managed data store

For hosted data, you need to decompress the iServer DataStore product package, and configure to associate it with the iServer. The relational data, binary data, and tile cache configured in the iServer DataStore correspond to the relationship, binary, tiles resources. For details on configuring the iServer DataStore, refer to: Configuring and managing iServer DataStore.

If the iServer is not associated with the iServer DataStore, the import resources under the corresponding  relationship, binary, tiles resources are unavailable.
