iEdge: Cloud GIS dispatching server

Feedback

SuperMap iEdge 10i(2021) is an edge GIS server deployed close to clients and sources of data to achieve near service publishing and real-time analytics and computing, reducing response latency and bandwidth consumption, and reducing cloud GIS center pressure. As the edge node between the GIS cloud and the application terminals, it provides proxy service aggregation and cache acceleration technology, effectively improving the terminal access experience, and provides content distribution and edge analysis and computing capabilities to help build a more efficient and intelligent "Cloud-Edge-Terminal" GIS application system.

As a forward proxy, iEdge can re-publish GIS services for local users to access, and supports dynamic caching of proxy response results to improve the access efficiency.

To integrate multi-source and heterogeneous geographic information and services, iEdge provides service aggregation function to aggregate the multiple map or data services published with iEdge into one for users to access.

The map tiles and vector tiles of the cloud GIS center can be delivered to SuperMap iEdge node based on geographic locations regularly and securely. And with the provided rich service interface types, iEdge can publish remote services and tile packages into varieties of services, including SuperMap REST services, OGC standard services such as WMTS, WMS, WFS and third-party services for different clients to access and use.

Includes local data rendering, local data spatial query and attribute query, measurement, coordinate converting, calculating spatial relationship, spatial operations, etc.
